Individual patients are evaluated as to the origination of their complaints and the roots of their issues are addressed. For example, a patient may suffer from headaches as do millions of individuals, but their reason for headache is very unique to them. Chinese medicine allows the practitioner to address their patient's unique patterns to resolve the imbalances of the body and restore health to body, mind and spirit.
What to Expect
Healing Path Acupuncture is a private acupuncture office.
The initial appointment includes evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. To develop a firm diagnosis of your individual pattern an extensive interview is conducted. We also use palpation, tongue, and pulse as important diagnostic tools. Loose fitting clothing is recommended.
A treatment plan will be made for you which is tailored to your specific case and may include recommendations for herbal or nutritional supplements, dietary modifications, books, classes, and acupuncture treatment plan. Acute problems may resolve in a couple of visits, while chronic conditions usually respond with slow steady progress.
Initial visits may take 1 to 1 1/2 hours, follow up visits may last 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.
First appointments are $130
Follow-up visits are $85
Herbal prescriptions or supplements are an additional fee.
